Commercial Inspection Overview

As with a home inspection, a commercial inspection is a visual examination of all immediately accessible components, rooms, and systems found in a commercial property. Whether it is a storefront or office building, our Inspectors will examine every nook and cranny of your potential place of business for any signs of material or structural deficiencies. There are, however, several unique features that must also be checked during a commercial inspection.

Commercial properties are legally required to meet certain state and municipal standards regarding wooden decks and balconies, commercial cooking areas, and life safety. This includes identifying potential tripping hazards, gas lines, and guard rails. Your inspector will also check for the presence of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and emergency lighting, verifying that there is adequate space and access to critical safety features such as fire hydrants and emergency exits.
